Choosing a Bathroom Vanity will be much simpler now that you have found The Tub Connection. We have every design, size, and color you can imagine. As you look through our site and you will see that we have separated our vanities into various classifications for your convenient viewing. Vanities can be seen by color, of the vanity, such as light oak, black, white and espresso. We also have some traditional and modern vanities in natural wood hues, very red cherry, even orange, stainless-steel and more. Whatever your design style, you are sure to find it here. Many vanities are made of solid wood, while others are made of composite products like MDF or plywood with a veneer overlay. The cabinet will have some kind of handles or knobs to pull in order to open the doors and drawers. Often times, the doorknobs or pulls are the very popular finish of brushed nickel as that finish seems to blend in with all types of faucets and fixtures.
Select A Sink Style
Vanity Sets will typically include a sink of some sort (occasionally it's just the cabinet). A vessel sink is one that sits above the countertop. Some vessel sinks are taller than others, some are square or round, wider, more shallow or deeper. When selecting a vanity, be sure to get a faucet that is tall enough for the water to stream into the sink. A crucial bit of information to understand is how tall the vessel sink and the faucet are. A basin style of sink is one that sits down into the vanity cabinet below the countertop. Another name for a basin sink is "undermount". The height of the faucet is not a concern when buying a vanity that has a basin style of sink. You can get imaginative with the style of faucet whether the sink is a vessel or a basin, by installing a waterfall faucet. The water cascades into the sink in a very relaxing way.

What Type of Vanity do You Prefer?
A countertop is normally included in a Vanity Set. Marble, glass, and granite are the most common types of countertops. Every one of these countertops can be found in different colors and patterns, however, porcelain is almost constantly white. Countertops in tempered-glass will be clear or frosted. If the one you have is clear and you prefer frosted, a can of window frost from the local hardware store will fix it for you. Make sure to read the instructions well and follow them very precisely for the best final look.
Drawers and doors are a very hot topic when it comes to storage space in the bathroom. Nowadays many vanities have soft closing drawers and doors which lowers the noise from slamming drawers and they help to prolong the life of the wood. Some drawers have dovetail joints which many consumers think is a better quality of drawer.
Bathroom Vanities are typically installed as floor models or wall designs. Vanities can be mounted on the wall for a variety of reasons. The floor that has a rough surface or it may be a little off-level, therefore, a wall mounted vanity could be a good solution. If the homeowners are really tall or very short stature, a wall-mounted vanity allows the cabinet to be set up at whatever height desired. Vanities are available in so many shapes and sizes so it is not possible to mention all of them. There are vanities for the corner, plinth style, double sink, and single sink vanities. There are long vanities with a single sink and short vanities with dual sinks.
