Choosing a Bathroom Vanity will be easier now that you have found The Tub Connection. We have every design, color, and size imaginable. As you look through our site and you will see that we have divided our vanities into several categories for your convenient viewing. Vanities can be seen by the color of the vanity, such as white, espresso and gray. Additionally, we have some more traditional and contemporary vanities in natural wood hues, very red cherry, even orange, stainless-steel and more. Whatever your personal style, you will find it here. Many vanities are made of real wood, while others are made of composite products such as MDF or plywood with a veneer overlay. The cabinet will have some kind of hardware to use in order to open up the drawers and doors. Often times, the doorknobs or pulls are the very popular finish of brushed nickel as that particular finish seems to blend in with all kinds of other bathroom fixtures.
Choose A Sink Style
Most Vanities normally include a sink of some type (some are just the cabinet). A vessel sink is a sink that sits above the countertop. Some vessel sinks are taller than others, some are rounder, wider, more deep or shallow. When buying a vanity, make sure to get a faucet that is tall enough for the water to stream into the tall sink. A vital piece of information to know is how tall the vessel sink and the faucet are. A basin sink is one that sits down into the cabinet below the countertop. A basin sink is also known as an "undermount". The height of a faucet is not an issue when purchasing a vanity which has a basin style of sink. Anyone can get imaginative with the type of faucet whether the sink is a vessel or a basin, by adding a waterfall faucet. The water cascades into the sink in a more relaxing way.
What Type of Vanity do You Prefer?
A countertop is normally included in a Vanity Set. Glass, marble, porcelain, and granite are the most common kinds of countertops. All of these countertops are found in different colors and patterns, however, porcelain is almost constantly white. Countertops in tempered glass can be frosted or clear. If yours is clear but you would prefer frosted, a can of window frost from the local hardware store will fix it for you. Be sure to read the instructions well and follow them exactly for the very best final look.
Drawers and doors are a hot subject when it comes to storage space in the bathroom. Nowadays lots of vanities have easy closing doors and drawers which reduce the sound from slamming drawers and they help to extend the life of the wood. Some drawers will have dovetail joints which lots of consumers think is a better quality of drawer.
