Classic Telephone Tub Faucet

This Classic Telephone Tub Faucet is for clawfoot tubs that have deck mount holes on the rim of the tub. The faucet is mounted on the rim of the tub and secured from the underside while the supply lines and the drain and overflow are located directly below the bathtub rim and do not require any extra space.

The Traditional or British Telephone Faucet is a vintage design of faucet made after days gone by to bring an air of charm to the modern-day bathroom setting. This faucet, TTC463D, is for clawfoot, freestanding or pedestal tubs that have holes on the rim of the tub, or what may be traditionally called "deck mount holes" or "faucet drillings on the rim of the tub". The faucet stem fits down into the holes on the "deck or rim" of the tub and is attached to the rim of the tub from the underside. The "stem" of the faucet will attach to the water supply lines which have been connected to the in-home water lines coming up from the floor. The TTC463D consists of two or six-inch deckmounts which are also referred to as "risers".

The deckmounts raise the faucet two or six inches taller on the rim of the tub. The idea of the deckmount is usually exclusively for aesthetic appeal. The Classic Telephone is available in 3 finishes; highly polished chrome, brushed nickel, and oil rubbed bronze. Oil rubbed bronze is extremely dark and while all plumbing finish coats will differ, oil rubbed bronze or ORB is one that has several color variations company to company. ORB at The Tub Connection is an extremely exotic dark surface. A benefit of the deckmount style of faucet for your tub is because it rests on the rim of the tub and the supply lines are straight below (within the rim of the tub) there is no extra space needed for installation. Many vintage-style tubs will also need a drain and overflow assembly. The drain & overflow sets up easily and is positioned within the rim of the tub.
