How To Care For Your Acrylic Tub:
Cleaning your acrylic tub is extremely straightforward. Right here are a few ideas that will help to keep your tub looking new. Always use as soft rag when cleaning the tub. Add some water to the tub and squish some dish soap or soft soap right into the water and wipe the tub. Empty the water and flush with fresh water.
Another product that performs well cleaning an acrylic tub is Kaboom Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner with Oxi Clean. This product absolutely does work. Flush the tub with water, spray the Kaboom around the tub. You are going to see that the Kaboom is purple. When the tub is spotless, the Kaboom is going to be white. Once you see the Kaboom is white wash it with a soft rag and always rinse it well.
Do not work any abrasive cleanser like Comet on your acrylic tub. Abrasive cleaning products will definitely get rid of the sheen and possibly scratch the acrylic.
The Tub Connection does not endorse any product and everyone needs to verify product appropriateness before using.
How To Clean Your Bathroom Fixtures:
The very best cleaning procedure for showerheads and taps relies on composition of the fixture. To remove lime from shower heads made with chrome, stainless steel, or other protected metal exteriors, fill up a ziplock bag with white vinegar. Attach the bag over the showerhead with an elastic band. Wait one hr, and then remove the bag of vinegar and switch on the shower to wash away the vinegar and sediment. Clean with a soft wash rag.
If you have fixtures with oil-rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, polished chrome or brass finishes, it is generally recommend that you apply just water for clean-up. Refer to the manufacturer's treatment directions considering that cleansers might damage a specialty surface. And if unsure, be sure to test a cleaning product on a concealed part of the fixture so that any sort of damage to the finish is tough to identify.
