ABOUT FREESTANDING BATHTUBS & SOAKING TUBS

CLAWFOOT STYLES

There are a few various styles for clawfoot tubs. The designs are attractive and give clawfoot tubs their appeal.

ROLLED RIM TUBS

Rolled-rim tubs are the earliest type of soaker tub you will notice. A faucet may be positioned at one end of the tub. It may be placed either on the rim of the tub or on the inside wall of cast iron tub types. The other end of the tub is perfect for laying back to enjoy a pleasant soaking experience.

DUAL ENDED BATHTUBS

These kinds of tubs have a uniform height from one end of the bathtub to the other. In contrast to a rolled rim, however, the faucet is not intended to be mounted on one end of the tub. Instead, it will be mounted in the middle of the tub. In contrast to a rolled rim tub, Dual-ended bathtubs allow for a person to recline while they bathe.

SLIPPER TUBS

The slipper clawfoot tub design is the most popular style. There are 2 various styles of slipper tub for you to select from. The solitary slipper as well as the double slipper. The single slipper bathtub has one end of the bathtub elevated with a reclined back. This allows one to unwind as they shower and also it takes any type of anxiety off of the back as well as neck (when compared with a few others tubs which do not have an increased end). A double slipper tub has both ends of the bathtub increased. This permits reclining at either end of the bathtub as well as these versions tend to be roomier compared to the solitary slipper tubs. Slipper tubs will certainly differ in just how much the elevated or sloped tub wall elevates. Make certain to check out the interior floor space so that you recognize just how much room you have to extend in the bathtub.

DUAL SLIPPER TUBS

Dual slipper bathtubs are easily the largest claw foot bathtub you will find. One of the nice things about this style is the head and neck support you receive with these bathtubs. Acrylic and cast iron are the two most common materials used to manufacture tubs.

Faucet Options

Before you choose from the drop-down list, we want to ensure that you understand your bathtub faucet choices:
--Bathtub Deck Mount Faucets: The faucet is positioned in openings that are drilled in the rim (deck) of the bathtub.
--Bathtub Wall Mount Faucets: The faucet is installed in openings that are drilled into the walls of the soaking tub. This kind of faucet should not be confused with Wall Mount Faucets, which are defined below.
--Wall Mount Faucets: The faucet is positioned in the wall of your bathroom; no holes are drilled into the tub itself.
--Freestanding Faucets: The faucet is set up on a stand and is not affixed to the soaking tub or to the bathroom wall.
Each of these types of bathtub faucets is available in Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Polished Chrome, and Brushed Nickel. Other finishes are available upon request.

Selecting a Foot Finish

Customize your tub's claw feet! Select from these three finishes: Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Polished Chrome, and Brushed Nickel.
Other finishes may be made available upon request.
