Keep Your Kitchen Fixtures Clean:
The best cleaning technique for Pull-down/pull-out showerheads and faucets depends on composition of the fixture. To extract lime from showerheads made with chrome, stainless-steel, or other protected metal exteriors, fill up a freezer bag with white vinegar. Attach the bag over the shower head with a rubber band. Wait one hour, and then take down the bag of vinegar and turn on the shower to wash away the vinegar and mineral deposits. Polish with a soft wash cloth.
If you have fixtures with oil-rubbed bronze, satin nickel, chrome or brass surfaces, it is typically recommend that you use solely water for cleansing. This is most notably accurate of fixtures with dark finishes that are in style. the manufacturer's care guidelines since cleansers might ruin a specialized surface. And if unsure, you should always check a cleaning product on a hidden part of the fixture so that any sort of damage to the finish is hard to see.
