Here are Additional Bathroom Vanities You May Like to Check Out
Choosing a Bathroom Vanity will be very simple now that you have discovered The Tub Connection. We have every design, color and size on the market today. As you look through our website and you will see that we have separated the vanities into several classifications for your convenient viewing. Vanities can be seen by the color of the vanity, such as white, espresso and gray. Additionally, we have some more traditional and contemporary vanities in cherry, natural wood, orange, metal & glass, stainless-steel and more. Whatever your design style, you are sure to find it here. Many vanities are made of solid wood, while others are made of composite materials such as MDF or plywood with a veneer overlay. Cabinets will have some kind of handles or knobs to use in order to open up the doors and drawers. Often, the door knobs or pulls will be the very popular finish of brushed nickel as that particular finish seems to complement all kinds of other bathroom fixtures.
Select Your Sink Style
Most Vanities typically have a sink of some type (occasionally it's just the cabinet). A vessel sink is one that sits on top of the counter top. Some vessel style sinks are taller that others, some are round or square, oblong, more deep or shallow. When buying a your vanity, be sure to get a faucet that is tall enough for water to stream into the sink. A vital piece of information to understand is how tall the faucet and sink are. A basin sink is one that sits down into the vanity cabinet below the counter top. Another name for a basin sink is "undermount". The height of a faucet is not a concern when buying a vanity which has a basin style of sink. One can get imaginative with the type of faucet whether the sink is a vessel or a basin, by installing a waterfall faucet. The water flows into the sink in a more tranquil way.
What Type of Vanity do You Prefer?
A countertop is normally included in a Vanity Set. Porcelain, granite, marble and tempered glass are the typical kinds of countertops. Each of these counter tops are available in different colors, although, porcelain is almost always white. Counter tops in tempered glass can be clear or frosted. If the one you have is clear and you would prefer frosted, a can of window frost from the local hardware store will fix it for you. Make sure to read the instructions well and follow them very precisely for the very best final look.
Drawers and doors are a hot subject when it comes to storage in the bathroom. These days many vanities have easy close drawers and doors which decrease the noise level from slamming drawers and they help to prolong the life of the wood. Some drawers have dovetail joints which lots of people think is a much better quality of drawer.
Bathroom Vanities are typically mounted as flooring models or wall models. Vanities may be installed to the wall for a variety of reasons. Floors that have a rough area or it might be a little unlevel, so a wall-mounted vanity could be a favorable option. If the homeowners are really tall or really short stature, a wall-mounted vanity allows the cabinet to be set up at whatever height desired. Vanities are offered in so many sizes and shapes so it is not possible to list them all. There are corner vanities, pedestal style, double sink and single sink vanities. There are long vanities with one sink and shorter vanities with double sinks.
